We chose Cum Quibus for our last evening in San Gimignano, and it was the perfect way to end our stay. You can tell that this restaurant is aiming for a Michelin star—and based on our experience, they’re well on their way. The food was simply outstanding. We’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants that served food that wasn’t as impressive as what we had here. The service was exceptional from start to finish. One detail we especially appreciated was the flexibility: I was able to customize two out of the five courses in the tasting menu without any issues, which made the experience feel very personal. The value for money is remarkable. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the creativity, and the execution, the tasting menu is priced very fairly. The portion sizes were also spot on—we left satisfied without feeling overly full, which is exactly how a tasting menu should be. The atmosphere, service, and overall ambiance were outstanding. Every member of the team was genuinely passionate, attentive, and committed to creating a memorable dining experience. If Cum Quibus earns a Michelin star in the future, we honestly wouldn’t be surprised. It would be very well deserved.

The best meal we’ve had so far in our two week trip. Tasting menu with wine is the only way to order. Wonderful wine pairing with thoughtful flavors. We meet the kitchen staff and had wonderful time. Highly recommend this place.

Cum Quibus serves a refined rustic inspired menu. I had the tasting menu along with the wine tasting menu, which turned out to be a wonderful culinary journey. The dishes were executed beautifully and matched perfectly with the wine. Suffice to say that I enjoyed myself so much that I forgot to take photos of the meal bar one. My only criticism, but only by way of room for improvement, was the dessert. The Tiramisu was indeed fatto bene - done well - but it was just that. It lacked the same inspiration the was present in all the other dishes and also the wine pairing didn't work for me. That said, it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal and well recommended.

Quite disapointing, food very average in taste, small portions high price. service despite a few tables not present and not respondent to our needs. In san gimingago there are far more better restaurant than this one.

We have had a lot of great meals on this trip, but none surpassed our dinner here. The gorgeous patio was a quiet and sophisticated backdrop for exceptional boar ragu, pork ribs that (literally) stunned us, and fabulous dessert. The local vernaccia wine was a great compliment and they gave us an adorable little parting gift for tomorrow. I wish I could come back again and again. On our next trip to Tuscany it will be the first reservation we make.
