Even though our group of 10 arrived a little late, Gian Carlo and team took amazing care of us - we felt absolutely spoiled and the food was to die for. Would absolutely recommend reserving a table here if you have a chance!

A must-visit if you're spending time in Pompeii. Just a short walk from the archaeological site, this is an absolute gem. We ordered à la carte: uovo morbido and palamita for antipasti; risotto caprese and linguine alla colatura for primi; nasello alla brace, agnello laticauda, and coniglio for secondi; tarte tatin, meringa e limone, and nocciola, pere e caramello for dolci. Everything was exquisite, and the meal was punctuated by additional little dishes, compliments of the chef. The chef here really knows what s/he is doing, the wait staff is super professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant and sophisticated. Highly recommend and will visit again.

We truly loved our experience at Il Principe on Saturday night. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The décor is stunning: classic and simple, yet full of details and original touches. Service was impeccable, attentive, and very generous. The tasting menu was excellent and so plentiful that we even brought the pastries home with us. And the 2014 bubbles we had were simply delicious, offered at such a remarkably reasonable price. A place not to be missed!
