As a wine lover, I'm always on the lookout for small, authentic wine bars, and Oratio is exactly that. It's a tiny place with a unique atmosphere, where you can enjoy excellent wines surrounded by books. There's something special about sipping a carefully selected glass of wine in a bookshop.

A gem in Florence! The staff are so knowledgeable about wine and will give you wonderful recommendations. Take them up on the offer. We tried wines we’ve never had before and everything was delicious. Oratio feels like going to a good friends home - intimate, friendly and delightful.
