What you describe — being scolded when you simply asked for lunch, and having your food put down at you rather than served to you — is not acceptable, and it is not the way anyone should ever be treated at the Locanda degli Scaligeri. You came to us as a guest and you left feeling disrespected: that is a failure on our side, and I offer you my sincere apology for it. I take this seriously and I will address it directly: I am reviewing yesterday's service with the team, I will speak personally with the staff who were on shift, and we will go back over how we greet and take care of guests, because courtesy is not optional in my restaurant.
