The food is tasty , the atmosphere is good but service is very slow and upsetting. The waitress forgot about my order and we got a second plate after more than one hour of ordering it

Best German food I've had since Berlin, at least proving the "German" places at home aren't that great. I opted for the smoked pork knuckle, which was simply outstanding - fall-off-the-bone tenderness and just the right amount of smokiness. Roast potatoes were excellent (needed a bit of salt) and the sauerkraut was thinly sliced without excess caraway. We went mid-afternoon on a Sunday, throwing the staff slightly off guard for a late lunch. They were friendly and attentive, and alerted us to the half hour prep time for the pork knuckle so we wouldn't be irritated by a long wait. If you're "tortellinied out" in Bologna, this is a great option for something different.

This place is only worth visiting if you want to have a beer — the food is absolutely terrible. I ordered a steak, and it arrived rock hard and practically raw. Serving such an undercooked and low-quality dish is unacceptable. When I complained, they simply told me I could choose something else, so I ordered a hamburger. The real scandal came when I asked for the bill: they charged me for both dishes, including the steak I couldn’t eat and sent back. Their so-called “solution” was a ridiculous 5-euro discount on the total. When I said I didn’t want to pay for a meal I didn’t eat, they just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. It’s shocking that a brand like this tolerates such an unprofessional and customer-unfriendly operation. Zero service, zero accountability. I absolutely do not recommend this place — a complete waste of money and time.
