Villa Cariola

This is a very nice place for weddings and other celebrations. Very professional in a restaured old counrty estate. High level. However, we did not appreciate the reserved front parking for the boss. That is neverca good first impression, that the boss is more important than guests.

We recently stayed at Villa Cariola for a wedding and overall the venue itself was beautiful, but we had a very disappointing experience at the bar.||||My boyfriend and I ordered 3 drinks, but were incorrectly charged for another customer’s drinks as well, bringing the total to around €130. When we questioned it, the bartender told us it was because the other customer had said we would pay. We had never agreed to this and only realised after the card payment had already gone through.||||The bartender said he would sort it out, but unfortunately nothing was resolved before checkout. As we were there for a wedding, it was awkward to keep pushing the issue in front of the bride and groom and we didn’t want to cause confrontation during their celebrations.||||It was really disappointing that such a large incorrect charge was handled so casually, especially at what is otherwise a lovely venue. I would strongly recommend that guests carefully check bar bills before paying.||

Excellent facilities. Excellent staff. Great atmosphere. Lovely food.

just got back from a wedding here and had a great stay. The building and grounds are stunning and very Italian. Olive trees, vineyard and authentic architecture. The views are stunning as well and although was a bit too cold for a swim, the pool was big and beautiful. The room I had was a little small but for one person or a couple it is all you need. bathroom was good, ample cupboard for clothing and I thought the bed was super comfortable. There is no lift which was fine as it is only two floors. The food served there was great, breakfast was a solid spread of a variety of foods and dinners were yum. Staff were also great and spoke great English. The location while looks remote, you can get to a small town with supermarket in 5 minutes, and there are a lot of towns on Lake Garda that are accessible by less than a 30 minute drive. All in all was a great stay.
