Great cafe in a secluded spot with beautiful old tower view. Waiters were friendly. Food was great - meat platter, tagliatelle and tortellini were fresh and delicious. Extensive wine map.
Our first time to Bologna and had a great experience celebrating my wife’s birthday. The cortaletta, lasagna, and the friggione are highly recommended with outstanding flavor. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Good food
We wandered into this gem by total chance and so glad we did. A beautiful and extremely cozy restaurant with hearty, traditional Bolognese dishes. The service was fantastic. All the staff were polite, friendly and determined for us to have a great experience, in particular Alessandro, who we very much enjoyed chatting with. The tortellini in brodo and tagliatelle ragu were supurb. Make sure to either sit or admire the interior (downstairs as well) as it is really cute and well laid out
We chanced upon this restaurant last night and had a fantastic experience. Our waiter, Alessandro, ensured we had a great experience, offering seating options, great advice on the menu and a sense of humour much welcomed. The tortellini in brodo was the best we’ve had in Bologna - a deep umami in the broth. Tagliatelle perfectly al dente. The trattoria is beautifully decorated. One of our favourite dining experiences.
