I’m genuinely sorry to leave a negative review, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I’ve never left food at a restaurant before, but this time I had no choice.
This was my first visit, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The bruschetta was really hard to cut and wasn’t enjoyable to eat.
What made the experience even worse was the staff’s response when I raised my concerns. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, they were dismissive, which left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope the management takes customer feedback more seriously and improves both the quality of the food and the way customer concerns are handled.

Our experience at this restaurant was not good. We arrived at the rooftop, which was quite cozy, but there was no one there, so we got a bit suspicious. I ordered avocado toast with two eggs, and when it arrived, it was basically avocado from a tube that was not good, and I was not able to eat it. Also, the ingredients seemed not fresh and bread was stale and not able to cut with a knife. I was not able to eat the dish, so we went to pay and when asked for a discount, we didn’t get any. And the service was quite bad as well. Very disappointing and would not recommend anyone to go here. Just wasted precious time in Rome.

We trusted the google map to take us but sadly to the wrong location and it said the restaurant was opened…
6 of us (including a wheelchair 78 years !) walked here from our Airbnb and then found out that they were not opened! so disappointed!
We had booked a taxi the night before to pick us up for the restaurant location so, we had to stay on the street for about 45 minutes 😭!
While waiting for the pre booked taxi the young ones walked around and found out that the entrance was at one street behind…. unfortunately by then we didn’t have enough time for breakfast 😭😭😭!

We are sorry to read about your experience and understand your disappointment.
However, we would like to clarify that The Roof Foodlab & Co. is open 7 days a week, from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and we were operating as usual on the day of your visit.
Our venue is located inside Dotcampus, on the seventh floor, and can be accessed through the main entrance of the building. From your review, it appears that, unfortunately, you did not reach the building's entrance and therefore were unable to access the rooftop.
As we had no reservation under your name and did not receive a phone call, we unfortunately had no opportunity to assist you or direct you to the correct entrance.
For first-time visitors, we always recommend following the directions to the Dotcampus main entrance or giving us a quick call. We are always happy to help our guests find us.
We sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity to experience The Roof as it was meant to be enjoyed.

If you’re thinking to get here brunch-don’t!:) The food and coffee is overpriced, prices are not worth the quality of the food. We asked the waitress some toothpicks two times, she never brought them. We also asked a pain au chocolat, we waited so long and when she brought it was not fresh. Only there working one waiter/barista was nice and genuine. We definitely not recommend :)

Ci dispiace invece leggere il suo commento sul cocktail e sugli snack. Avremmo davvero preferito ricevere questa segnalazione durante la sua permanenza: il nostro staff è sempre disponibile a rifare un cocktail o a trovare una soluzione immediata quando qualcosa non rispecchia le aspettative.
Per quanto riguarda gli snack, ci sarebbe stato utile sapere quali ha provato e cosa, nello specifico, ha ritenuto di bassa qualità. Un feedback dettagliato ci permette di verificare e migliorare concretamente il servizio, mentre un giudizio generico purtroppo non ci consente di individuare eventuali criticità.
Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente per offrirle un'esperienza all'altezza delle aspettative.
