My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautifully designed boutique hotel . Our room was tastefully decorated , the bed was quite comfortable , and our room was spacious . We enjoyed our morning coffee in the private terrace that was attached to our room . The bathroom was big and spacious . We enjoyed the sauna in our shower which was quite relaxing after a full day of excursions and sightseeing . Lucrezia and Valeria made our stay more special by their great restaurant recommendations!!! ||Lucrezia provided a complimentary private ride to the airport as we were leaving Bari . She also made our check out quite easy and effortless as we were able to do everything remotely . I highly recommend this boutique hotel . I forgot to mention that the Sparano hotel is centrally located and it is a short walk to the old town and many other locations . Book Sparano luxury maison hotel for your next visit to Bari !

We had a wonderful stay at this new, small boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring the city. We arrived last night , Lucrezia greeted us and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Our room is beautifully designed , comfortable and very clean . We had coffee in the terrace that belongs to our room this morning . So far everything is quite orderly!!!

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a very serious issue that was not handled appropriately by the hotel. About one week before our arrival, we received a WhatsApp message asking us to make a deposit via a payment link. The message included our correct personal details and stay information, so it appeared completely legitimate. Shortly before arrival, we contacted the hotel and were informed that the message was not from them and that they had not received any payment. At check-in, we were told that this had already happened to several guests. What we find unacceptable is that no proactive information was provided. Only after asking ourselves did we learn that the hotel had been hacked (we booked directly over the hotel’s website) and that our personal data had apparently been compromised and used for a targeted scam. We understand that cyberattacks can happen, but the response was disappointing. As guests whose data was misused, we expected more transparency, communication, and responsibility. The rooms are clean, but in our opinion overpriced. The Junior Suite was basically a normal-sized room, and the breakfast buffet was small and limited for the price level. Overall, we did not feel comfortable during our stay due to this situation and would have expected a much more professional handling of such a serious matter.

We absolutely adored our stay at Sparano Palace! We travelled from Australia for our honeymoon and Justine and the team went above and beyond to celebrate our joyous occasion. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique hotel but the room was huge and impressive. It’s modern, tastefully designed and felt like home. For the team, no request was too big, they helped us to organise transport for our daily activities, as well as airport pickup and even sent us champagne to our room to wish us congratulations on our wedding. We loved every minute and would absolutely stay there again if we visit Bari again. A special mention for Justine for making our trip feel extra special!

Had problems with misuse of our credit card on the first night. The location is in heart of Bari shopping district. The room had no air con, even though we asked repeatedly for it to be turned on. This is a room only hotel - no public areas except for a breakfast room and a few chairs on outside balcony.
