Incredible food. Very accommodating for our vegetarian needs. The truffle pasta was out of this world. First time I've had freshly shaved truffle! Did not disappoint. Highly recommend sitting on the terrace / roof

An absolute gem in Trastevere! We spent a wonderful evening at Sottosopra and everything was simply perfect. From the very warm and friendly welcome to the little details that truly make a difference—such as being provided with a convenient hook at the table to hang up my handbag—everything was thought of. The service was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the night. To top it all off, the food was fantastic—truly extravagant, creative, and exceptionally delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Trastevere. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a review that isn't entirely positive:( My overall impression of this place is average. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, and the service was good until the very end. We had to ask for the bill three times before it was finally brought to us. I understand that the staff was very busy, but by the time we were leaving, there were hardly any guests left, so I still don't understand why we had to wait so long. The most disappointing part, however, was the food. I've visited many restaurants in Rome, and honestly, I can't remember having such ordinary-quality food at such high prices. The biggest disappointment was the beef tartare. The portion was very small, and the meat lacked flavor. I absolutely love tiramisu, so I was really looking forward to trying it here. Unfortunately, it turned out to be another disappointment. Overall, I left with mixed feelings. The place has potential because of its atmosphere, but considering the prices, I expected much better food and a smoother dining experience. I wouldn't choose to come back.
