I came here because of all the good reviews, but honestly, I have no idea how this place is rated so highly. From the moment we arrived, it was EXTREMELY disappointing. The food was completely average, with nothing special about it. The flavors were bland and tasted like any basic, forgettable house dish.
The service was even worse. After we finished eating, we asked for the check and were told it would be right away. Instead, the server went outside and sat with her friend for over 30+ minutes while we were left waiting. Other staff came out of the kitchen, saw us trying to get the bill, and ignored us.
The table next to us ordered a lot of food but barely ate any of it, which honestly says a lot about how it tasted.
We were also told the card machine was “not working,” which felt very suspicious amd made us pay cash. On top of that, the server added a 10% tip to my friend’s bill herself without letting them properly check the total first.
What’s even worse is how the owner responds to negative reviews. If the restaurant was actually as good as they claim, they wouldn’t need to argue with every bad comment. Good food and good service speak for themselves. Trying to dispute negative reviews says a lot about you as a person as well as your restaurant. Come here if you want to waste money and time. Massive tourist trap.

I went to this place for it's "good reviews" but I was dissapointed. I waited 30 minutes just for the check while she chatted with her friend. She said I must pay with cash because the machine wasn't "open" - yeah right. We know that it's just tax evasion. And to top it all off, she added a 10% tip herself on the bill.

What a perfect Italian experience. The server who I think was the owner took time to learn our names. Learn a bit about us. Everything was wonderful. Perfection

Carbonara, black truffles, tonnarelli (Rome specialty!) veal, gnocchi, salad, prosciutto with buffala cheese, delicious wine, personable and kind service, EVERYTHING was amazing! Put aside the time to visit this gem, so authentically Italian. We were blown away at the quality! Exactly what we were hoping for. ❤️❤️
