We went out for dinner at this restaurant, and it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. Our waiter was a middle-aged man of medium build wearing black-rimmed glasses. His attitude was extremely unfriendly. Most of the time, I saw him chatting with other staff members instead of paying attention to customers. Whenever we tried to get his attention by raising our hands, he either ignored us or responded very slowly. In the end, we had to ask another waiter for help, who then informed him before he finally came to our table. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was acceptable, and the atmosphere was decent, but the service was terrible. To make matters worse, our utensils were dusty, and no one seemed to notice or care. If you’re on vacation and looking for a great dining experience, I strongly recommend that you avoid this restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at La Caravella , together with the best seats on the roof top terrace for the Redentore fireworks. The restaurant staff was really nice and explained to us the blends of food ingredients we was about to eat. As it was our wedding anniversary, a lovely lady from the restaurant forefilled my request for a single yellow rose, she also emailed directions for the water bus route and stop we needed to get off at-fantastic!
Excellent food and service! I can’t believe that this place is right off a tourist street. Could not be happier with the quality of food and service. On the picture: crab and tuna tartare.

What a wonderful gem in Venice. Amazing food and desserts, probably the best of our entire trip. The staff here are incredibly nice and also very entertaining with their senses of humor. For the expense you would expect a stuffy formal experience but not the case at all. Highly recommend.
