Absolutely EPIC. From the second we walked in, the feeling was warm and welcoming. We chose to do the full 7 course Luce menu.
The flavors of each dish was exquisite. The presentation, flawless. I am amazed how creative some of the dishes were. I never imagined ever having a guacamole gelato before, and it was a banger.
The service was absolutely impeccable. The synchronized marking and clearing was like watching a show. There wasn’t a detail missed. A+
Overall, just a wonderful experience.
I can’t wait to come back. Compliments to Nicola Annunziata for the well deserved 2026 Michelin star/award and your incredible talent and creative gift with ingredients.
Keep up the great work!

I loved this hotel. The location is very good as it’s next to a nice park that had a music festival on when we visited. It looks like it’s set up to have lots of musical events and there’s a bar there. As you leave the hotel it’s a straight walk right into the centre. Most of the area is pedestrianised.||The hotel itself is very beautiful. Our stay included breakfast, and it was a delight! A lovely, high quality buffet with lots of options, including some gluten free breads/cereals etc you can request fresh squeezed orange juice and it is amazing! On the first two days breakfast was served on the second floor. This restaurant has the terrace. It was lovely to sit out and have breakfast. The terrace was also available for drinks later in the day. ||The second two days we had breakfast in the location of their Michelin starred restaurant. There’s no terrace 😔 but it was nice to see the room as it is lovely. One recommendation, the hotel needs to review its coffee and orange juice service as it always took a while and we even had to ask three times to chase up our drinks one day. But other than that, the service is very good and the staff are lovely. ||We had dinner in the hotel one night - in the pizza restaurant. A very good pizza and salad and the service was very good. ||We had a “compact” room and it was fine for our needs. Huge bathroom. Great shower. Lovely toiletries. ||The hotel Ali has a cafe attached and a beautiful patisserie.

Our stay at Hotel I Portici was a really enjoyable experience overall. From the moment we arrived, everything was very easy—staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay.||The room itself was great—we absolutely loved it. Comfortable, well-presented, and a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.||The hotel’s location is a major highlight. It’s within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city.||One thing to be aware of: there are street raves on Monday nights, and the noise can be quite loud. It kept us up a bit, but honestly, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a great stay.||If you can secure on-site parking, it’s definitely worth it—very convenient and helpful, especially if you’re traveling by car.||We also really enjoyed the meals at the hotel’s restaurants—great quality and a nice bonus to have on-site dining options.||A small tip for future guests: the “complimentary” water in the room isn’t actually complimentary—you’ll be charged for it (we learned that the fun way!).||Overall, we’d happily recommend Hotel I Portici and would definitely consider staying again.
