Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant we visited in our italy journey so far (mainly because of the second course). We chose this restaurant, because the review looked ok and the pictures looked good, but the pictures of the food did not display what we experienced at this restaurant (especially the „frutti di mare“) For the „primi piatti“, we had „ Ricotta gnocchi with smoked aubergine cream, sun-dried tomatoes and mint“ and „Calamarata with basil cream, calamari and confit red tomatoes“. The portions were a little bit small, but overall the food was ok, we had better italian gnocchi and pasta in Lecce. For the „secondi piatti“, we had „ salento-style cod“ and „mixed fried seafood“. For the salento style cod, I expected the fish to be covered in a salt bed (not sure if my translation of the menu was just wrong). It looked more like fish with a batter crust from the supermarket. The ordered fish was still raw unfortunately. For the „mixed fried seafood“, the portion was really small, and the mixed fried seafood platter turned out to be only calamary and prawns. We were also a little bit disappointed that the waiter told us, that there is no pizza, but the table next to us could order pizza… so we were a little bit confused Even the prices are as high as we have experienced in really good restaurants in Lecce.
Non capisco davvero come fate a comportarvi in questo modo.. Venite a cenare da noi, fate i complimenti, mangiate tutto... Perfino la scarpetta e poi una recensione del genere. Da noi non c'è NULLA di pronto dal supermercato.. I gnocchi di ricotta sono fatti personalmente da me... Così come la crema di melanzane, così come i pomodorini confit. Voi forse vi divertite a scrivere certe recensioni, sembra che lo fate per lavoro.. Noi sicuramente qui ci passiamo ore e ore per preparare le pietanze e farvi stare bene, farvi sentire a casa...
