Osteria Da Nonna Ia

Our family had two very delicious dinners at this gem during our stay in Ostuni! The best were: (1) Top quality cheese and ham platter (2) Mouthwatering pasta with swordfish and lime sauce (3) Mussels and clams so fresh (4) Pasta with cuttlefish ink sauce (5) 5 bottle of different olive oils for us to try with the bread (6) Relaxing environment near the park, away from tourist spots (7) Above all, the owners of this family owned restaurant Nora and her husband and chef Giovanni! Nora was so warm and genuine. She explained every dish she served and suggested good wines for us. The wine glasses were chilled and that never happen at any other restaurants we went in Puglia. She told us at our second visit that they have run the restaurants for over 10 years, and worked basically long hours every single day. My husband and I and our children were all more than satisfied with the superb food and great service. It is definitely value for money as the prices are lower than those inside the old town tourist area. We recommend Osteria Da Nonna warmly and it would be the reason for us to return to Ostuni next time! Thank you Nora and Giovanni! Eva and family

We had three meals here, two dinners and a lunch and the food and service were both fantastic. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of each meal. Highly recommend.

Normally I would be circumspect of restaurant recommendations from a taxi driver but in this case I’m glad I listened. We only had three dishes but each was wonderful. I’m confident that would apply to any of the other dish. Lovely outside seating next to the park and away from the crowds. Service was friendly and helpful. Really glad we went.

We visit the place and find a nice family restaurant, with best food we find in Ostuni. My husband enjoy a Tagliata real well made.

One of the best restaurants in Ostuni, the food is very delicious. Nora and her husband are amazing. On our last day we forgot to book a taxi and they called one for us. Very friendly and kind people. We will be back. Best regards Justin and his family.

We had a lovely late lunch here today. Out of the busy old town we found this lovely restaurant after reading great reviews. The attentive host talked us through the menu and helped us choose. The food and wine were excellent, the best we have had on this trip. We would highly recommend taking a short walk from the busy main square.
