Dinner at Orma was fantastic. Using fresh ingredients, the chef presented creative dishes, and it was a wonderful evening where I could truly taste the unique flavor of each ingredient. The staff's attentive service allowed me to focus solely on the food. If you're heading to Rome, this is a restaurant you absolutely must visit.
Our evening at Orma Roma was unforgettable. Italian cuisine reinterpreted with modern techniques was both creative and well-balanced. The presentations were elegant, and the service was professional yet warm. I would definitely recommend it for fine dining in Rome.
Saturday 4th of July I celebrate my Son’s Doctor Diploma in the private room , the service was terrible .
Amazing food! Highly recommend it! Very accommodating to allergens as well. Staff was first class! Enjoyed all the food
Orma Roma — A Refined Escape from the Pace of Rome I visited Orma Roma for a 13:00 lunch reservation and was seated immediately after arriving a few minutes early. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant feels polished, calm, and intentionally removed from the noise and pace outside. During lunch service it was quiet, spacious, and an excellent reset in the middle of a busy Rome itinerary. Service was outstanding throughout. My waiter, Filippo, explained the menu clearly in excellent English and guided the experience with confidence and warmth. Every course was presented tableside with professionalism, and the staff kept service attentive without ever becoming intrusive. Water was consistently refilled, pacing was smooth, and the entire meal felt thoughtfully managed. The Food I came for the business lunch menu and added an extra course to expand the experience. The opening bites blended South American and Italian influences in a creative but approachable way. Nothing felt gimmicky—just well executed and balanced. The bread deserves its own mention. I love bread, and this was some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Multiple varieties arrived during the meal, each memorable in its own right. The cauliflower with truffle was rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. The tamal with beef and muhammara was one of the most memorable dishes I had in Rome—bold, layered, and incredibly cohesive. But the best bite of the meal was the Wagyu served over rice. Luxurious without excess, perfectly cooked, and the kind of bite that stays with you long after the meal ends. Dessert, particularly the plantain and guanabana pairing with Colombian rum accents, ended things on a high note and felt distinct from the more predictable endings many tasting menus rely on. Things to Know * This is not the place for anyone rushing. My lunch experience lasted just under two hours, and the pacing is part of the appeal. * Water (€6) and espresso (€6) felt like noticeable upcharges, though not uncommon at this level. * Booking online was easy, but I would strongly recommend reserving in advance, especially for dinner. Would I Return? Absolutely. I’d gladly come back for dinner with friends or even solo. Orma feels like the kind of place worth experiencing in different settings. Final Verdict 10/10 experience. Excellent service, thoughtful pacing, memorable food, and a calm atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape from the city outside. If you want refined dining in Rome that offers more than just formality, Orma Roma is worth your time. — Briefly Leo
