Old Wild West - Genova Fiumara

The main course, priced at €13, came with just three small pieces of chicken. An extra serving of sauce cost €1.50, but the waiter didn’t mention that upfront. Before I even finished the fries that came with my meal, a male waiter rushed over and tried to take my plate away. Then came the highlight of the evening. We wanted to order dessert. We looked through the menu multiple times and waited—over thirty minutes. No one came to take our order. There were people waiting outside, and we just sat there at an empty table for more than half an hour. During that time, at least four different staff members walked past us repeatedly. They weren’t always busy, yet no one asked if we needed anything—or even asked us to leave. That’s not just disrespectful to us, but also to the customers waiting outside. When we finally lost patience and went to the counter to pay, a short female staff member and the same waiter who’d tried to clear my plate early exchanged a look that clearly said, “Finally, they’re leaving.” I felt completely disrespected. The food itself was just okay—nothing special. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for sauce if they’d at least let us know in advance. But the service was genuinely poor.

I go here often. The quality of the food is a bit hit or miss. I guess it depends on who is cooking that day. I CAN say the food has never been bad. It's just some days (like today) the food is excellent and other times, it is just passable. The place very kid friendly. There is a dedicated kid's menu with ice cream included at no extra charge. They also give your kids a coloring menu with markers and a toy. I highly recommend this place especially if you have young children.

An average restaurant overall. I tried two dishes and both were just okay. The service is good, but everything else is fairly mediocre.
