Do not miss Murat when visiting Vasto! The food is excellent (featuring local dishes) especially enjoyed on the tranquil rooftop terrace. The staff is not only knowledgeable about wines, but friendly, attentive, and engaging. The staff made extra effort to communicate in English. You will feel welcomed and appreciated. One of the best experiences in Italy!

This is a very hidden gem in Vasto! When you walk in you are greeted by very freindly staff, and immediately wowed by the interior. It resembles an old winery with beautiful stone everywhere. We were seated straight away (even without a booking). Don’t worry if you dont speak much Italian, they have a staff member who does speak English. But the other staff are also good with understanding your requests. We ordered a pizza, and one of the pasta dishes. Highly recommend the Negromaro Rosato rose wine. It’s a Puglia special! Bread and oils were brought to use straight away, and mains were served quickly. We highly recommend the Tiramasu for desert! It is one of the best we have ever tried in Italy! Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely return if we visited Vasto again. This is a family run restaurant so you get the proper local Italian feel from the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave.

What a beautiful, rustic and cozy restaurant. Food was excellent! My husband loved his ribs and I my ravioli. The eggplant appetizer was also delicious. Friendly staff. So glad we chose here while in Vasto for a holiday.

We love to visit unique places and Murat is one of them, we stopped by on our trip from Puglia to Rome on Sunday lunch and were so impressed by service and food. We ate so many arrostichini (meat screwers , my favourite liver), meat and cheese board and Pinza! Sooo delicious and surprisingly light ☝️❤️ homemade pasta and wine was perfect. Really enjoyed design and freshness downstairs. Restaurant owned by talented young Italian chef and manager who is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommended to visit and support them!
