We had a lovely lunch here in this beautiful spot. I was a little sceptical when I booked it as often as beautiful view doesn’t always equal great food but here you get both. As all trabocci are; it’s in a beautiful setting right on the sea and the inside of the restaurant is as lovely as the view; light and airy with tables well spaced. The food surpassed our expectations; it is an all seafood menu as you would expect but the chef had made an effort to elevate the dishes above the usual fare that you get in the area in seafood restaurants. We really enjoyed the little twists he used such as strawberries with smoked salmon which was actually delicious. The mixed grilled fish was also unexpected with swordfish, tuna; octopus, sea bass and prawns which were super tasty. There is also a comprehensive wine list with choices for every budget. The staff at the restaurant were very professional but also kind and warm; they were very patient with my Italian and they made us feel really welcome. It is a slightly more expensive restaurant than others in San Salvo but where else can you get that view with great food to match? It’s well worth it.
