Best restaurant in town by a margin - the others aren’t bad but feel like a tourist trap after you’ve been here, very authentic and lovely people

I don’t know about the Italian dishes, but please remove the meat section from your menu. It’s way overpriced considering the presentation, also tasteless.
Kind staff, beautiful delicious food! I particularly loved my mirto cocktail
I have found this restaurant via the Michelin Guide, rated around 9/10, which set very high expectations going in. Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing and did not reflect that level of recommendation. We started with meatballs and zucchini flowers. The zucchini flowers were the main letdown of the dish: they were barely present, and what was there felt bland, overly oily, and heavily deep-fried without any distinct flavour. Overall, it lacked refinement and balance. For the mains, we ordered a goat stew and a fregula dish (local pasta) with aubergines and goat cheese. The goat stew was the better of the two mains: rich, fatty, but still flavourful and enjoyable in its own way. The fregula, however, was particularly disappointing. The pasta was overcooked and lacked seasoning, and the aubergine element was barely noticeable. The goat cheese element also failed to lift it, resulting in a flat, underwhelming plate overall. Portion size was also relatively small considering the price point. For dessert, the tiramisu was fine, nothing remarkable. In total, the bill came to around €100 for two people, including a bottle of wine. Given the Michelin Guide expectation and the pricing, the experience felt misaligned with value and quality. Overall impression: a disappointing visit with a noticeable gap between expectation and execution.
This is like the best restaurant in the Mediterranean we've been to. Several tuna dishes in the menu (we love tuna), interesting unusual menu (even our kids had no problem to choose their dish), lovely matriarchs-waitresses.. it was the place we wanted to come back to every evening we stayed at Santa Maria Naverrese. Wholeheartily recommend the place <3 . oh, yes, we were hete four times in a week.
he service was terrible. We were the last customers in the entire restaurant to be served, despite arriving before everyone else. They brought my dish first, and 10 minutes later we had to complain about my friend's dish. When I started eating, my meat was completely raw. Then we asked for the bill, but they never brought it. We had to go to the front desk to pay, and when we expressed our displeasure with the service, they didn't respond.
