Lupaia

We have stayed all over the world in 5-star hotels, and Lupaia puts every single one of them to shame. This is the most magical boutique resort, and I am not sure we will ever find better. Every want and need is at the touch of your fingertips with a text via WhatsApp - and we really appreciated this. I wish other hotels would do the same. The staff is the kindest, most lovely group of people I have ever encountered at a hotel. Hannah at the pool bar is such a lovely person and gave us incredible service throughout our entire stay - we miss you already, Hannah! Michael who gave us a private cooking class (DON'T MISS THIS, highlight of our trip, by far), was an incredible chef, friendly, funny, and a joy to spend a few hours with. Andreas who gave us an unforgettable wine tasting was knowledgeable, sweet, and had us laughing and enjoying ourselves the whole time. The maintenance crew (shoutout to Paolo and Jean Paolo) were so incredibly nice and worked around the clock keeping the property and its amenities in tip-top condition. The views and the rooms and the buildings and the grounds are stupendously beautiful. Like out of a dream. I mentioned the word 'magical' previously, and that's really the best way to describe it. It's off the beaten path in the Tuscan hillsides, but only a 15 minute drive to Montepulciano, and 18 minutes to Pienza, and 45 minutes to Montalcino - which are amazing towns to visit while you stay here. It's quiet, serene, and relaxing - everything we wanted with a Tuscany stay. Things to note: It's located down a long dirt road (but, welcome to Tuscany - they're all like this!). The gym is quite small, plan to do a calisthetics-style workout in your room and only use the gym for weights. If you want to use the E-bikes, there is a charge, and the hills are no joke (even with the electric help). Thank you all so much! We had the best 5 night stay of our lives.

Staying at Lupaia is one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. You are deep in seclusion as the peacefulness of being there is breathtaking. The staff is amazing as they take care of you with anything you need and are very very kind. I recommend Lupaia Highly to anyone....FANTASTIC!

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, even thought I highly use them :) but I had to make an exception for Lupaia. This hotel is simply incredible, they have thought of absolutely every single detail! From Dyson hairdryers (IYKYK), to custom playlists in Spotify, little gifts to the room every day... I could go on and on... and omg the food!!! Seriously some of the best food we had on our entire trip to Italy. Our room was Oliva and highly recommend it, it was perfect, has an incredible view of Montelpuciano and really easy walk to everywhere in the hotel. I truly cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend the cooking class, chef Michael was incredible! Lovely experience! Thank you Lupaia team for the most magical trip ever!
