Locanda Sant’Agata was one of our favorite dining experiences in Italy. The restaurant is set in a beautiful, relaxing location that makes for a wonderful atmosphere from the moment you arrive. We shared a starter and three different pasta dishes, and every one of them was outstanding. The pastas were some of the best we had during our trip—perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and a great showcase of the local cuisine. Each pasta was paired with a wine that wasn’t listed on the menu, and it complemented the meal beautifully. We also appreciated that the pours were thoughtfully sized so we could fully enjoy the pairing while still feeling comfortable driving afterward. It was a small but very considerate touch. The combination of exceptional food, thoughtful service, and the charming setting made this a truly memorable meal. It felt like you were in their home while still being very professional. If you’re in the area, I would strongly recommend dining at Locanda Sant’Agata. It’s a restaurant we would happily return to.

The food and the wines were incredible. I feel like our family of 6 ordered the bulk of the menu and not a scrap was left. There is also a small play area for the kids - our 5 and 2 year old both wanted to come back tomorrow to play more while they ate.
Great food, but unfortunately very little vegetarian options (only one appetizer, one first course and the cheeses). What really left me a bit surprised was the service, as they didn't comunicate menu changes. Furthemore, they offered us an appetizer with meat and alchool without asking if we would have been okay with it (we didn't order any alchool and one person of our party specifically asked about vegetarian options); they did ask about allergies but not drinking and not eating meat are not allergies. Location is great and so is the general atmosphere! I personally loved the dessert!

Ci teniamo però a fare una piccola ma importante chiarezza su quanto accaduto. Ciò che vi è stato servito all'inizio non era un antipasto ordinato dal menu, bensì il nostro entrée di benvenuto: una coccola che la cucina offre a tutti gli ospiti (composta dal nostro cocktail di benvenuto, burro aromatizzato, sfogliatella salata e selezione di pani) per iniziare l'esperienza al Sant'Agata. Per noi l'accoglienza è una priorità, ed è per questo che cerchiamo di mappare ogni esigenza ben prima del servizio: chiediamo informazioni sulle preferenze alimentari sia durante le prenotazioni telefoniche, sia tramite i campi dedicati nei nostri form automatici online, fino alla domanda diretta in sala prima di iniziare. Se un'esigenza vegetariana ci viene segnalata in questi passaggi, la variazione dell'entrée scatta in automatico. Se non emerge prima, il nostro personale di sala è sempre pronto a sostituire l'entrée all'istante non appena l'ospite lo fa presente al tavolo. Inoltre, oltre alle proposte vegetariane presenti stabilmente in carta (che includono opzioni per l'aperitivo, l'antipasto e il primo), disponiamo sempre di una vasta scelta di piatti fuori menu che comunichiamo prontamente su richiesta. Ci dispiace che in questo caso ci sia stato un malinteso e che non abbiate colto l'occasione per segnalare subito la preferenza al cameriere, che sarebbe intervenuto immediatamente per offrirvi la nostra alternativa vegetariana. What an amazing team - we enjoyed each morning of our stay having breakfast in the garden and speaking with the owners, would recommend!
