The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was incredible. A hidden gem!! Left with happy bellies and happy hearts. Carlotta and her desserts were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Will definitely be returning when I come back to Rome! Easy reccomendation!

We stopped at this restaurant on our last night in Rome and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing with every bite. The sauce on the fettuccine black truffle was superb and I couldn’t get enough of it. My daughter got the the braised beef cheek and it was delicious! The dessert was amazing with my daughter saying the tiramisu was airy and the best she ever had. This restaurant reminded us of how amazing the food is in Rome and it ended our trip on a high note! Also don’t forget the wine!

A charming old-style restaurant with creative and delicious dishes. Following a wonderful bread basket, my appetizer of poached eggs with shaved black truffles was very different for me but wonderful. Continuing with the truffles, my fettuccine with black truffles and a carbonara-style sauce was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The lovely woman serving me tried to get me interested in dolce, which all sounded good, but I was full, and tired from a long day. Throughout the evening the service was very good. A little more expensive than I'm used to, it was a good value for the money and an enjoyable experience!

Excellent food and customer service. The owner and the staff are the rare find in the dining industry. Price is fair considering the food quality and the table setup.

Superb neighbourhood italian restaurant owned and operated by Roberto and Carla since it's early days. Serving locals for over 20 years, the menu includes an array of items with a Tuscan flare. Our custom sharing meal for 4 started with a pasta covered in rich cheese white sauce, capellacci stuffed with prawns and fried artichoke. Our main was a grilled Florentine t-bone large enough for sharing. All paired well with a glass of red wine. To finish, Carla's millefueille cream and fruits. Where do I begin? My wife and I had the absolute best meal & dining experience at Roberto's & Carlotta's Ristorante, La Picccola Toscana. It is one of those places that is perfect from the moment you step in the door, until the moment you leave. The atmosphere was warm, romantic and inviting. Both Roberto & Carlotta made you feel like you were at home and part of their family. From start to finish, each course was true perfection. The pear, almond, cheese starter was so delicate. Both the beef with potato course and fettuccine tartufo were cooked to perfection . The tiramisu was the best we ever had. Both my husband and I have dined at many fine restaurants in Rome, Florence, Milan and throughout Italy. But we both felt this dinner was the best we ever encountered from start to finish, hands down. Gracie Mille to Carlotta & Roberto for making our night in Rome one to remember.
