La Patatina San Polo is a Venetian restaurant offering Italian cuisine with a strong local influence, particularly seafood and traditional lagoon specialties. The menu is suitable for both lunch and dinner, with a selection that evokes the classic flavors of Venice and the Mediterranean. The atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, and typically Venetian, with an informal atmosphere reminiscent of a bacaro (a typical Venetian tavern) and a neighborhood osteria. Its location in San Polo contributes to its pleasant and distinctive character, perfect for those seeking an authentic and relaxed experience. Among its most popular features are its seafood dishes, traditional dishes, and the ability to offer a simple yet refined experience, centered on local cuisine and set within a charmingly traditional Venetian setting.

Very disappointing. The calamary ink pasta was very scarce, salty and sepia cold inside. Copperto was 4 euros, well above average and with no mention on menu ( lack of transparency) and a regular wine glass was 10 euros, more expensive than anywhere else, abusive. The only good dish was the insalara mista but cannot compensate for the rest..definitely the worst have been in Venise. Do not recommend.
