Il Proverbio is a Sicilian and Italian trattoria with a pizza offer that feels rooted in Palermo's local dining tradition. The setting is informal and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere that suits both family meals and relaxed dinners.
The kitchen stands out for its seafood dishes, typical Palermo specialties, and generous first and second courses, along with well-liked fried dishes. Pizza is another recurring highlight, especially the house specialty. The overall impression is of a place that combines local character, hearty cooking, and a distinctly Sicilian identity.
