Beautiful rustic outdoor ambiance, ruined by bees constantly buzzing around tables. Some people don't mind, but with kids, it's far from relaxing. Service was a joke: 20+ tables, one waiter getting the order?? Long waits for families with small kids. Kids' play area: €10/hour for one attendant. If you call yourself family-friendly, why charge extra for basic entertainment? Waiters? Inattentive and uninterested. I won't say more. High food prices + ridiculous kids' fee = poor value. Either commit to being family-friendly or drop the pretense. Grazie but I’m not coming back!

This restaurant is a little unusual, both because of its somewhat secluded location and because of the unique atmosphere it offers. Dining under centuries-old olive trees creates a peaceful and relaxing setting that is quite different from the busy restaurants in town. The food is worth exploring, but I would recommend choosing your dishes carefully. The flavors are somewhat distinctive and may differ from what you find elsewhere in Vieste, which makes the experience interesting and unique. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is popular and there are not many alternative dining options in the immediate area. Overall, a charming and distinctive place that offers a different side of the local dining scene.

Arrived at a nearby agriturismo/masseria whose restaurant was closed for the season. Googled and found Chalet Degli Ulivi. Great find. Being Saturday night our last minute reservation using What's App got us outside but under cover. The restaurant provided a wrap for my wife. Nice touch. We started with the caciocavallo al forno. Who doesn't love good melted chesse? And this was good. I had the Bombette Pugliesi and these were great, the potatoes also delicious. My wife enjoyed the iberico pork which was devine! Amazingly tender texture and full of flavor. All paired nicely with a wonderful, bold yet mature fruit balanced palate primitivo. We finished with an amazing tiramisu. So many tiramisu are just so so, this one was both delicious and cleverly presented in a flower pot. This was a wonderful meal.
