Centrale Macerata Il Ristorante

Central restaurant in Macerata, food is pretty average, atmosphere is cool. We went two times and it really depends on what you get. The pizzas in general are good, pasta also. Avoid burgers at all costs. The meat is good but the preparation is extremely basic. The chicken with pistacchio sauce was good but very small, even though for that price I expected a fuller dish. So beware of prices, unless you get a pizza or burger I would suggest getting first AND second or you’ll walk away hungry. Service was good the first time around but bad the second time. I got the burger in 5 minutes and my partner had to wait half an hour for the pizza. Waiters are nice overall, it’s probably more of a kitchen issue.
