A large group of us from the U.S. visited Marrone for a pasta cooking class, wine tasting, lunch and tour.
First thing we noticed was the impressiveness of the facility. It offers a rustic, authentic feel while still incorporating contemporary design.
The cooking class was fun and informative However, maybe not as hands on as we had expected. That said it was still a ton of fun.
The wine and lunch were tasty and the views from the Cantina were spectacular.
The staff was very nice, friendly, and welcoming
Highly recommend looking into this location if you’re planning a trip to the area.

We are totally enchanted with this wine house! Just a quick tip for future visitors: space right at the vineyard can be tight, so you might need to park near the church and walk up.
Once inside, the experience was honestly perfect. The staff were super friendly, incredibly welcoming, and went completely above and beyond for us! This wasn't just about tasting the best wine, it was truly the best overall experience, the best cheese pairings, and the absolute best service we've ever had.
Also the views from the terrace are absolutely WOW—just breathtaking!
They say Barolo is the king of wines, but this team? They are the kings of Barolo! Their Marrone Bussia is hands down the best Barolo we have ever tried in our lives, and we just had to buy a bottle to take home. A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you for a truly memorable afternoon!

We had the very best experience at Marrone. We booked a 3-course cooking course led by Laura and chef Andrea. Together, they were extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and humorous. We learned a ton about the winery, the wines, and the geography of the area. The wine tasting to accompany the cooking course was exemplary - generous pours, amazing depth of wines, and detailed information about each. In all, the “2.5h” experience we expected was twice as long and so much more detailed and thorough. We felt like part of the family! The location was stunning as well. We look forward to bringing the recipes home to our families and sharing some wonderful Marrone wine with them too! Many, many thanks. This was by far the highlight of our visit to the area. We would recommend it to anyone and return in a heartbeat!

Lovey, knowledgeable staff.
Delicious wines.
Gorgeous setting.
We really enjoyed the appetisers but the entrees and mains had a one note flavour profile- the braised beef was very rich and salty and could have used a vegetable to break it up.
The desserts were a highlight- in particular the panna cotta!

The winery tour was fun and interesting. Afterwards, the tasting of the various wines was coordinated with a gourmet lunch. We have shipped wines in the past and it was uneventful. It is always a great experience.
