Calapa is a nice place to have dinner. It has a parking lot right next to it, which gives a big plus. The food is okay, the risotto was absolutely stunning, however, the pasta should be more boiled, they were too al dente.
I don’t know who writes these reviews coz the food was absolutely terrible here. I specifically ordered a salad under COOKED seafood section and the shrimp came out completely raw. Our pasta with shrimp and pistachio also had raw shrimp and no flavor of pistachio. Also the water view can only be seen when you’re standing and not when you actually at the table. Customer service very grumpy, unpleasant and inconsiderate. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
We visited this restaurant with high expectations, given its reputation and price point. Food-wise, the tasting menu we ordered absolutely delivered. The kitchen held its ground, and the dishes were delicious and well-executed. However, there are two areas that need improvement. First, the table service could definitely use some work—it wasn't quite up to the standard you'd expect at this level. Second, and most frustratingly, the entire evening was ruined by the music coming from next door. We had to listen to non-stop, loud techno/club music blasting for almost two hours straight, which completely invaded our table and destroyed the dining atmosphere. A real shame, because the culinary experience itself was very good.

A waste of money and disrespect service. My husband and I travel around the world often and we can really tell what a great dining experience looks like. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We had a terrible experience, to begin with, we ordered the burrata but received an ordinary mozzarella. Then, as it was not enough, we ordered a pasta for 3 people but one of the portions was so small that not enough for a person. When we talked to the maitre, he said he was going to bring a proper portion, however, it has never come. Bad service and poor food. Don’t waste your money and time while in Puglia. There’s certainly better options in the region.
