The most MEDIOCRE food we ate in Sicily so far.
The food is completely soulless, poorly made and most importantly extremely OVERPRICED. It feels like they are relying on tourists coming from Mondello beach to charge them pasta main courses over 32€ and deep fried calamari with mayo for 20€ !
Cheap truffle on almost all the main dishes to try to look fancy. Service is equally bad, rude waiters that get impatient very quick…
However I have to say their wine selection is pretty impressive.
We should have taken the bus back to Palermo to have dinner in one of the many amazing restaurants there. Don’t do the same mistake !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute overall experience: warm, flavorful, and welcoming!Three years ago we unfortunately didn't manage to eat here, but we finally made it. And it was absolutely worth the wait! Badalamenti in Mondello is a beautiful, charming restaurant with a very tasteful interior. You immediately feel that this is a real family business; it radiates warmth in every way.The staff is incredibly friendly. Something that really stood out to me was their wonderful attention to the children; they were truly well taken care of. Another huge plus for us was the man who speaks almost every language. This gives the place an international yet very personal touch.And then the food and drinks: we had a truly delicious meal. On the recommendation of the owner, we drank a top-quality Grillo wine; a perfect choice and the ideal match for the dishes. To top it all off, they also serve a delicious homemade limoncello.In short, we felt incredibly welcome and at home from the very first moment. For us, that is exactly what dining out is all about: being able to feel at home because of the warmth a place radiates, combined with fantastic food. It is a complete overall experience. We highly recommend Badalamenti and will absolutely return! Booking in advance is highly recommended for this little gem.

Stunning restaurant, maybe the best in Mondello. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and some knew English which was great! Best meal I’ve had in a long time. The menu had something for everyone and you can tell this place takes great care in their product. Would recommend to anyone in Mondello, or even to make the journey from Palermo city to come here. I had the Cacio E Pepe and have missed it from the last strand of pasta.

The food was fantastic! Service was superb and the atmosphere was inviting! Loved it. When we were finished Sam’s ready to walk to our hotel, the owner drove us back!
