Osteria Al Squero

Venetian cicchetti and small plates define the kitchen here, with a focused selection built for grazing and pairing with a drink. The setting is an informal cicchetteria in Dorsoduro, with standing room inside and waterside seating outside along the canal.

The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and the location gives it a distinctly Venetian character. The most appreciated specialties are the cicchetti, fritters, spritz, and Venetian wines by the glass, all served in a simple format that suits a quick stop or a light lunch.

What makes it distinctive is the combination of canal-side tables, a compact historic setting, and a menu centered on local snacks and drinks that reflects everyday Venice.
