Bar Sedile

Bar Sedile is a relaxed bar-café in the center of Matera, set on Piazza del Sedile with an open view over one of the city's most characteristic squares.

The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, suited to a quiet coffee break, an aperitif, or a simple stop with friends. Its best-known offerings are coffee, wine, spritz, and light warm platters, served in a setting that feels distinctly tied to local daily life.

The place stands out for its central location, its easygoing character, and the combination of drinks and small savory bites enjoyed on the terrace.
