We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food and the service were very good. The quality and the taste of the food exceeded our expectations. Our waitress was very professional and even spoke English to us. We would gladly come back!

Such a beautiful restaurant with lovely hosts. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had… pan pizza, more like a Foccacia or pizza a taglio, but the dough is SUPER light and crispy. This with the tortelli di Zucca and a bottle of Lambrusco was a special evening. It felt like a small, family operation which I will always gladly support. Thanks for the memorable dinner!

Great Food & Friendly Atmosphere – A Perfect Stop on Our Journey We stopped at Zafferano Ristorante e Pizzeria during our drive from Switzerland before heading to the ferry in Livorno—and we’re so glad we did! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was excellent. My wife (who's Polish) absolutely loved the tagliolini with mushrooms—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I had the tagliolini with saffron, gorgonzola, and crispy guanciale—a rich and delicious combination I’d happily order again. A great spot for a relaxing, high-quality meal in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended if you're in the area!
