Taboo Pizza & Italian Kitchen

The pizzas were good. Not the best we've had in Cagliari but decent enough to call it above average. Since this restaurant is located right in the city center it gets busy and loud, but that's to be expected in such a location. Also the prices are a little steeper than in pizzerias that are more "hidden". The waitress messed up our order a bit and instead of 2 pizzas brought only 1, but after notifying them they quickly made the other pizza and it was free of charge which was very nice of them.

Very tasty and good pizza, nice and sweet service. Can recommend this for both lunch and dinner.

Really good pizza, but the service let down the evening. We booked a table for 9:45 and by 10:30 they were desperate to get rid of us despite us having drinks left. They were trying to convince us to move into the ‘air conditioned inside’ despite it being warmer in there. They claimed our table was booked, despite us booking it, when it obviously wasn’t and they just wanted to turn it over for another walk in. Disappointing as the food was really good. Don’t book as it seems like a burden to them.

We came here at 2:30 PM when the main kitchen was still closed, but there was an option to order from the brunch or business lunch menu. The café was only half full, yet we had to wait quite a while for someone to take our order. Then our carpaccio was served after the pasta, even though it should have been the starter. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our meal, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. That said, I hope this was just an unfortunate exception, as the place has a lot of potential.

The place is nicely decorated—simple, really, but charming. The pizzas looked good but didn't taste great—except for the excellent topping. At nearby tables, several pizzas were completely burnt. We noticed—though too late, since we had already ordered—that other diners were leaving a large portion of their food uneaten. I think there are better pizzerias out there, but it’s all a matter of taste.

Really great place. The service is excellent. They speak really good english and can help you choose the best food and coctail. Super friendly staff and tasty food. Super quick with drinks and pizza. There is terrace outside and also lot of tables inside with air condition so you can choose where you want to sit.
