I honestly don’t understand why Google says it's a 1 star hotel, if anything, it deserves closer to four stars. You can immediately feel how much care, money, and effort the family running this place has put into it. It’s not just a business, it feels like a place they genuinely want people to enjoy. The owner is incredibly kind and always available if you need anything, which makes a huge difference. The staff are just as warm and helpful, creating a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are far beyond what you’d expect: a gym, solarium, swimming pool, and beautifully maintained outdoor areas where you can truly unwind. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without even trying. And the food is honestly amazing. We had a rabbit stew for just €16 that tasted like something from a high-end restaurant, and the desserts alone are worth the trip. Everything felt homemade and full of flavor. What really surprised me is the value. We paid €300 total for two nights, including full breakfasts and a complete dinner for two with multiple glasses of wine, a starter, main course, dessert, and aperitif. That’s €150 per person for a full countryside experience in a stunning part of Italy. Calling that a rip-off makes no sense (quoting from another review in Google), it’s actually an incredible deal. If you’re looking for a place to truly rest, eat well, and feel taken care of, this is it.

We were very pleased with our stay at San Martino. The owner of the hotel is a charming lady, very polite, helpful and friendly. Hotel is very well equipped with taste and perfectionism. Breakfast was exellent, perfect omelette! Hotel room was perfectly clean. Thank you for your hospitality!
