Prepariamo i nostri primi espressi al momento per garantire la massima freschezza del pesce e delle materie prime, ma questo non giustifica un ritardo così prolungato nel servizio. Faremo tesoro della sua segnalazione per migliorare la gestione dei tempi in cucina.
We had dinner here as a party of two with mixed expectations. We weren't looking for five-star service, just a pleasant evening with good food, but unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing.
The service felt quite disorganised from the start. Our outside table was wobbly, so we asked one of the waiters if they could bring something to stabilise one of the legs. Despite waiting, nothing was ever brought to us, so we ended up rolling up part of the artificial grass under the table ourselves to stop it rocking. The waiter who took our order wasn't rude, but seemed rather indifferent and lacked any enthusiasm.
Our starter arrived within a reasonable time. The moscardini fritti was a generous portion and tasted very good. However, the wait for our mains was excessive, well over an hour. I appreciate that fresh pasta dishes take time to prepare, but the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so the delay was difficult to understand.
My wife's spaghetti ai frutti di mare was well presented, generously portioned and full of flavour. My paccheri con scampi e 'nduja, however, was a real disappointment. Although the sauce itself tasted good, only two scampi made their way on the entire plate, and the 'nduja was almost impossible to find. Looking at the menu photos, the dish appears to contain a much more generous amount of both scampi and visible pieces of 'nduja, including peeled scampi, so the actual dish did not match expectations. The pasta was also unevenly cooked, with several broken pieces, suggesting it wasn't of particularly good quality.
Dessert didn't improve the experience. I ordered a lemon sorbet, but what arrived was a small glass containing a foamy, frothy, barely chilled lemon-flavoured mixture that was neither cold enough nor remotely similar to a proper sorbet. My wife chose a Limoncello-based dessert, which was acceptable, although it was served in an ordinary glass rather than the more elegant flute you can see on the menu.
The total bill came to about €103, and after the long wait for the main course, we received a discount of around €3, which felt rather symbolic given the circumstances.
The one aspect that truly deserves praise happened as we were leaving. My wife accidentally left her phone on the table. By the time we realised and I ran back to the restaurant, one of the waiters was already running after us to return it. That honesty and attentiveness made a very positive impression and is something we genuinely appreciated.
Overall, while there were some enjoyable elements, particularly the starter and my wife's main course, the disorganised service, very long wait, disappointing signature pasta dish and underwhelming dessert meant the evening didn't live up to the price we paid. I'm afraid I'm not convinced I would return.

Ci scusiamo sinceramente per le disattenzioni del servizio, l'attesa eccessiva e per i piatti che non hanno soddisfatto le sue aspettative in termini di qualità e corrispondenza con il menu. Terremo conto delle sue critiche su paccheri, sorbetto e gestione del tavolo per migliorare subito il nostro standard. Siamo invece felici che abbiate apprezzato i moscardini, gli spaghetti e l'onestà del nostro collaboratore nel restituirle il telefono. Speriamo possa concederci una seconda possibilità per offrirle un'esperienza all'altezza del prezzo pagato.
Food is good. Fresh and tasty but it was missing something in all we ordered, fish overcooked for example but in general good. Presentation and service is quite poor.

Siamo felici che abbia trovato il nostro pesce fresco e saporito, ma prendiamo seriamente nota delle sue osservazioni sulla cottura e, in particolare, sulla presentazione e il servizio.
Quando si dice che a un piatto "manca qualcosa", di solito si parla di un pizzico di sale o di una spezia; ci dispiace che nel nostro caso quel "qualcosa" fosse l'attenzione ai dettagli in sala. Lavoreremo subito con lo staff per fare in modo che la cura nel servizio sia all'altezza della freschezza delle nostre materie prime.
Delicious seafood pasta. Best i tried in Rome. Also good service from employees.

Grazie per le 3 stelle, Darlene! Siamo felici che il nostro pesce ti sia piaciuto, ma sul "caro" dobbiamo confessarti un segreto: purtroppo i pescatori non ci fanno ancora lo sconto comitiva e il mare buono ha il suo prezzo! Scherzi a parte, trattando solo materia prima freschissima, i costi sono un po' più alti della media, ma lo facciamo per non scendere mai a compromessi sul sapore. Speriamo di riaverti a bordo per farti cambiare idea sul conto!
