I had dined last year at their sister restaurant Dilla and upon my return to Rome a year later I wanted to visit another location. I enjoyed Puntarella equally as much. The service was amazing and I had some of the most delicious stuffed zucchini blossoms- highly recommend pairing this with a glass of dry white wine. I wanted something other than pasta for my main dish, so it wasn’t on the menu but the server recommended the roast beef with truffle and Parmesan, was very tasty with the addition of olive oil and balsamic with some mixed green salad on the side. I will definitely return on my next visit. The atmosphere outside was great, a quiet patio to eat in the Trastevere area.

We ordered cocktails and were rushed to order dinner. The food came out reheated, but still cold. My friend was sick in the evening from the tuna. Looks beautiful and cosy, but was truly disappointing.

Very good food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.
We did have a little issue with the carbonara, but I think it was a one off issue as the other pasta there like the cacio e pepe was very delicious. The bread was good and if it matters to you the balsamic was very delicious, not overly sweet and a good amount of salty. Additionally both the tuna tartare and the lasagna were very well rated.
In terms of the atmosphere, the seating outside was very nice, not sure about the inside as I didn’t venture there. Outside had nice lighting, good temperature, and while we were there was a guy singing and playing the guitar (not part of the restaurant) which was pleasant. Do keep in mind we were there for dinner at around 8/9pm so the outside might not be as bearable during the day.
Overall if you’re hungry and want a decent place to go to dinner, stop by.

Food was good and they squeezed us in without a booking. However we ordered a drink and food when we first sat down and generally had to try and get the attention of the staff after being there for over 40min for a dessert menu. No staff came over for all of the 40min to ask if there was anything else we would like. Charged for a bag of bread they automatically put on the table without asking (no butter/olive oil to go with it). Food was good like I said but the customer service is lacking. (2 mains, 2 cocktails and 2 desserts) €95
