Materia is our first one-star Michelin in Italy. We enjoyed the entire dinner. While the website presents a minimalist concept for the interior, the food was surprisingly flavorful and well-executed. The staff was excellent, and we really appreciated that our dog was welcome. Furthermore, the sommelier was professional and helpful, working with us to find wines that paired perfectly with our meal and preferences. A very positive experience.

I would give more stars if I could. This restaurant, its staff, and their food they create is exceptional. You’ll eat food you’ve never expected, things you couldn’t have dreamed of, but done in an approachable, caring manner. This isn’t a stuffy, fancy, make it complicated place. Instead - it’s absolutely wonderful, unexpected, and insanely good. The service is top notch. Would not change a thing, and will absolutely come back. Highly, highly recommend.

We visited Materia and had their business lunch. We really liked the food, everything we had was very tasty and refined.
The value for money is incomparable and I would definitely recommend the experience!

It was good until we got plastic in one of the dishes. They were very apologetic but I don't think this is acceptable from a michelin star restaurant. The service was good and the atmosphere was good but the food was very disappointing. We even got their special momentum course so we had high hopes. They discounted us from paying for the long course and we ended up paying for the short course.
The food was alright but once you see big plastic on the plate it just makes everything go down hill.
