This was a welcome break from the tourist venues that can be found nearby. Our server was absolutely lovely, the food was great quality, reasonably priced wine and home made desserts. You should definitely go here. Don't worry about booking, just turn up.

Pros - wonderful food and wine selection. Cons - a waiter might follow your friend to the bathroom and put the moves on her. I guess at even nearly 50 years old, we ladies should still be going to the restroom in teams.
Had a great lunch yesterday. Love this place - not a tourist trap - great service and food.
Great taste and authentic Rome taste! We stayed in the area and had dinner with a friend here one night! It was surprisingly delicious and classic. We ordered our favorite salad puntarella, calamari with artichoke and my friend ordered shrimp ravioli- while eating, we saw next table everyone ordered vongole pasta , we couldn’t resist and shared one - perfectly prepared, al dente, tasty. Such a welcoming and cozy atmosphere inside! Highly recommend. In such seemingly touristy area, here is how locals come to enjoy their meals!
La Pollarola is consistently delicious and a great meal. The servers and staff are nice and the food excellent. We love it when we visit Rome , the best artichokes in the World. Really good wines. Great spot , and nice because it is not filled with tourists, it’s full of locals and Italians ! Very chic!
Got a bonus on a website (the name’s visible in the photo) and decided to treat myself to dinner. The pasta was super tasty — tender with a nice little crunch on top.
