Ristorante Golgo

The bonus star is for the location (the only redeeming factor). Otherwise the value for money here is non-existent. The food was an insult to the state of Sardinia and country of Italy. We got a bruschetta and the skimpy flavorless goat cheese was only to be outdone by the even more flavorless and colorless tomatoes. No basil, no dressing. We literally bought tomatoes earlier that day from the grocery store that were significantly better, so it can’t be blamed on scarcity. The saffron malloredus were also served with the same teaspoon of goat cheese, and the sauce was equally flavorless, watery and grainy. It tasted like airplane food. The pork was decent, but served plain and with minimal seasoning. If this is the typical food of Golgo, it’s probably best to avoid eating anywhere Golgish if you enjoy tasty things.

Wow - driving to this place is a whole experience in itself ! The view is incredible, the service very attentive, and the food was great. I had the gnocchi beef Raghu which was incredible.

Came to restaurant when hours showed as 'open' but they were closed. Not nice to waste people's time. Please do better 🙏

We visited this restaurant during our vacation in Baunei. The mountain location offers a lovely view, and the Aperol aperitif was very good. ​Unfortunately, the main course was a huge letdown. We ordered the suckling pig platter for 4 people (€18 each), but it consisted almost entirely of fat and skin, with barely any actual meat. On top of that, the side dishes cost extra and were incredibly oily and greasy. Overall, the value for money was very poor. Great views, but the food is not recommended.
