Pizzeria M. Condurro - Antica pizza Forcella dal 1937

An incredible experience from start to a chaotic finish 🥵🥵! Started with the Friggitoria (fried starters). The potato croquette (Crocchè) was beautifully cooked, featuring a wonderful herbal flavor and a rich, creamy center. Next up was the Frittatina Classica, served piping hot and incredibly delicious. The crust was spot on, and the filling of pasta, peas, creamy ricotta, and cheese complemented by savory bits of pancetta, itwas wonderfully rich. A touch more salt would have made it perfect, but it’s still a stellar starter. For the main, we ordered the "La Nostra Storia" pizza. Be warned: it easily takes up a third of the table! The execution is flawless: a wonderfully soft, wet center, perfectly charred crust, and a fantastic tomato sauce. The Marinara section was beautifully oily with a rich garlic punch. The Margherita section was to die for—absolutely spot-on flavors. Finally, the Cosacca section with pecorino delivered a fantastic, sharp flavor profile. My personal rating is a solid recommendation. Strategy tip: the pizza is huge, so don't completely fill up on the fried starters beforehand! If you are anywhere near Asti or Alessandria and craving elite pizza, making the detour here is a no-brainer.
