Updating review: After writing my first review of the restaurant, reading their response, and returning for another visit, I decided to post an updated opinion. As mentioned before, a pre-fixed menu had been arranged for our group, although most of us did not know in advance what we were going to eat. First course: Pasta alla Norma. The dish had a good flavor, but in my opinion the absence of ricotta salata—which is a key ingredient in the traditional recipe—was surprising and affected the overall experience. Second course: Grilled meat with vegetables. It was fine, but not particularly memorable, and it isn’t a dish I would return specifically to eat. Dessert: Tiramisu. Since I don’t like tiramisu, I asked if it was possible to have the alternative dessert that had been served to some of my colleagues. I asked precisely because, in their response to my previous review, the restaurant had said that any problem should be communicated so they could look for a solution. For that reason, I was surprised when I was told that another option wasn’t possible, yet afterward the alternative dessert was placed in the middle of the table for everyone to try. In the end, I only ate a very small piece and basically didn’t have dessert. Regarding the atmosphere: We were a large group and the space is quite small, so there wasn’t enough room to be comfortable. Every time someone needed to get up, several people had to stand or move their chairs. Additionally, the service between courses was rather slow. About the flavor of the dishes: While nothing was technically wrong with the food, several dishes lacked the depth or seasoning I personally expected. Flavor is subjective, but this is my honest impression after two visits. This updated review reflects my overall experience after giving the restaurant a second chance. Gentile Elena, Apprezziamo il tempo che ha dedicato per lasciare la sua recensione. Tuttavia, siamo molto sorpresi dal suo giudizio, in particolare dal commento "Per niente gustoso!". 1. Il gruppo non era di 17 persone, bensì di 22 (non come precedentemente concordato in ogni caso, in quanto dovevate essere 24) con un menù prestabilito. 2. Ci stupisce il suo commento sul gusto. Non riusciamo a comprendere quale "gusto" debba avere una fetta di carne semplice con insalata come contorno o una tagliatella salsiccia e porcini per soddisfare i suoi canoni. 3. Durante il servizio, nessun piatto è tornato indietro con residui consistenti e nessuno del vostro gruppo ha sollevato obiezioni o segnalato problemi al nostro personale. Se ci fosse stato un problema reale e oggettivo, sarebbe bastato dirlo immediatamente e avremmo provveduto a trovare una soluzione. 4. Ricordiamo che il menù è stato concordato e accettato preventivamente da un intermediario del vostro gruppo. Se il menù non era di vostro gradimento, andava segnalato anticipatamente. 5. Ci permettiamo di sottolineare che, al vostro arrivo, gran parte del gruppo non era a conoscenza della tipologia esatta del menù concordato, dimostrando una potenziale disorganizzazione interna al vostro gruppo. A fronte di questi elementi, siamo portati a pensare che la sua recensione sia più un tentativo di creare disagio che un feedback basato su un reale problema del nostro servizio o della nostra cucina.
