We were lucky to find this wonderful little restaurant near our hotel! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is great. (We couldn't help noticing that this is not a restaurant full of tourists, but with lots of apparently local diners. Nevertheless, the staff worked to accommodate our very limited Italian language skills!) The menu is extensive and interesting, with lots of Sicilian specialties, and a variety of fish, meat and vegetable dishes, all well-described. We couldn't decide so we each got one of their two tasting menus and they certainly did not disappoint! In addition, we thought our dinner, including a bottle of fabulous wine, dessert and a glass of dessert wine, was very reasonably priced considering the portions and quality. We only wish we were staying in town longer so we could come back again!

The best meal we've had in Italy. After 2 months in Italy my dinner at Locanda TerraMare was the absolute best. The service was attentive and our waiter's suggestions were perfect. I had the eggplant caponata and swordfish and my husband had a pasta dish. We finished with the zabaione. Everything was amazing. Reasonable prices and friendly service. I highly recommend Locanda TerreMare.

My wife and I loved this restaurant. Our meals were delicious well prepared and the service was on point. We tried to make it back before we left but we just ran out of time. I highly recommend this place for an incredible dinning experience.
