Fantastic food and nice service!

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and have recommended it to countless friends and visitors. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I can no longer do that. The quality of the food has noticeably declined, and the level of service has fallen even further. What was once a refined dining experience now feels disorganized and inattentive. The most disappointing part of the evening, however, had nothing to do with the food. While we were seated outside in one of the most beautiful areas of the city, people repeatedly approached our table begging for money and disturbing guests. This happened over and over, yet the staff made no effort to address the situation or protect the dining experience. It felt more like unorganized chaos that dinner. Sadly, during dinner my Iphone was stolen by a Gypsy, distracting us by stealing our food off of the table. The Gypsy jumped into a car nearby and speed off. What happened afterward was even more frustrating. The staff showed virtually no concern or sense of urgency. We were simply told, “There’s nothing we can do,” and offered no assistance whatsoever. No one directed us to the nearby Carabinieri station, literally across the street, no one helped us contact the authorities, or made any effort to ease what was already an incredibly stressful situation. When I spoke with the manager to express my disappointment and asked if there was anything they could do, his answer was simply “No.” There was no apology, no empathy, and not even a small gesture of goodwill such as offering us a coffee after we had just been robbed while dining at their establishment. I understand that a restaurant cannot be held responsible for every crime that occurs nearby. However, it is absolutely responsible for how it treats its guests when something terrible happens. A little compassion, guidance, and professionalism would have gone a long way. A restaurant staff being human when their patrons were a victim of a crime would have been bare minimum, especially when you rely on those people to pay your bills. I’m genuinely disappointed and embarrassed that I recommended this restaurant to so many people over the years. It has clearly lost the quality, service, and hospitality that once made it special. I won’t be returning and hope that the they learn empathy and compassion or they will fail.

I have been coming to this restaurant for three years. In the beginning the establishment welcomed me and the food was intentional. Now the people are extremely rude, the food is not good and to put the cherry on top, trying to enjoy a awful meal, a gypsy walked by as we were eating outside and stole our food and my boyfriend cell phone. The staff did nothing and offered zero help. They insisted it wasn’t their fault and got angry when I asked why they behaved this way. Please AT ALL COSTS , avoid this restaurant!

For the price and Michelin recommendation, does not live up to hype. Tried veal starter, saffron risotto, and roasted pig. Very mid and honestly quite disappointing. Better Italian food to be found outside of Italy

Probably the best meal we've had during our one month in Italy. Excellent food. All the main dishes were absolutely great and the dessert. Wow. We had a cream puff covered in chocolate and it was delicious. The tiramisu is the best we've had and we've had some good tiramisu but this was just a cut above. Overall five stars. We loved it.

We had a nice evening at this Italian restaurant! Everything was good from start to finish. The food was delicious: rich flavors and well cooked. The service was quick and attentive. We also really liked pleasant and cozy interior. I can recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Italian cuisine and good service.
