The view is absolutely exceptional. The food is decent, but they give you tiny portions. The slow cooked beef confit was the size of a golf ball and they only give you one spoonful of mashed potatoes. For 120 euros, my girlfriend and I went home still a bit hungry.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants — we come back to La Rampolina again and again, and it never disappoints. The view over Lake Maggiore is simply breathtaking, the staff are always warm and friendly, and the food is exquisite every single time. A truly special place, highly highly recommend.

Had a lovely evening at La Rampolina. Prices were comparable to meals in the area. Beautiful views of the sunset and a terrace with large windows if the weather is bad. We booked ahead. I would say my favourite course was the agnolotti Parmesan pasta. Simple but delicious. The bonet was also well worth a try- it was like a set creme caramel with chocolate and hazelnuts. Delicious! Only downside was getting there- took a while to get a taxi to the area and the guy initially tried to charge us 40 euros each way (cash only) for a 10 minute drive. Car park is plenty big enough if you have a car to take you. Overall, worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Our fav place for lunch in this part of the country. Tons of locals and amazing food and drinks. Getting here is expensive if you dont have a car but worth it . The views are amazing
