I always enjoy dining at Il Locale whenever I'm in Sondrio. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The food is delicious, with a great selection of local dishes that are both authentic and satisfying. As a meat lover, I particularly enjoy their excellent meat dishes. The restaurant is also conveniently located in a beautiful setting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Super recommended!!
Although it is mainly a pizza place - we ended up ordering the salmon dish and the purple potato gnocchi. Both were exellent!!
And the Tiramisu for desert was outstanding as well.
In addition, the staff were nice and responsive (and English speaking - not always a given in Northern Italy..).
We had a wonderful experience.

Nice restaurant, downtown. We stayed at a table outdoor in a small square withour car traffic. Wearte good primi piatti with fresh mmushroom. Service was good and friendly.
