It was a bit of an adventure to find this restaurant in the Lago Garda region but it was well worth the effort.
The Mantuan cuisine featured here was both elegant and earthy, as was the Valpolicella selected by our charming hosts.
A rare find; we’ll be back next year !
Nothing fancy about the place or the location, but the food was outstanding. The homemade pasta was the best we’ve had, and the duck, meat dishes, and rice dish were all incredible. Every plate was excellent. Easily our best meal in Italy so far.

A trattoria with character and history. Simple decor, interesting presentation, great wine selection. Prices are fair for the quality. The female chef-owner was simply outstanding -her gnocchi and dessert were amazing!
