We stumbled across this place while just walking around. We’re here at 2pm on a hot Tuesday. Only 12 people in, so judging atmosphere is tricky, but everyone is relaxed and speaking at normal volume, so I’m saying positive. The staff greeted us as we walked through the door, realising from the map I was carrying that we were tourists, and guessed English first time. The beer was great (that was the real reason I was there) and as neither of us wanted a full meal in this heat, we opted for a couple of starters off the specials board. Both were delicious.
If you’re looking for somewhere to eat and drink in Lucca, this is the place.
