Gorgeous by name and it sure lived up to its name. The best place in town. Stopped for lunch after our hike from Sutri and it was lovely. Sussed out a couple of places for dinner but ended up back here. Fab food. Our accommodation provided us with a voucher for breakfast here and it was yummy. Everything we had to eat was delicious, the service from all the different staff was friendly and very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Huge wine selection too. Our morning coffees even came decorated with hearts and flowers in the foam. Excellent spot.

Found this place by chance on the way from Rome to Orvito and stopped over for lunch.
The place has wine bottles all around and sommelier certificates on the wall.
Food was excellent, the paired wine spot on and staff was very accomodating.

One of two recommended restaurants in Monterosi, do not be put off by the apparent local cafe, they have two dining rooms at the rear.
A simple local produce menu all prepared in house. The ravioli was simply one of the best I have had across Italy, it looks simple but was full of flavour and very filling.
If you are on the Via Francigena they also have a timbro.
