The venue

Fontana dei Malavoglia is a Sicilian landmark set in Piazza Giovanni Verga, in the heart of Catania. It is closely tied to the literary and civic identity of the city, with a strong visual presence that makes it an instantly recognizable meeting point.

The setting is open and urban, with the fountain framed by a large square and surrounded by important city buildings. Its appeal lies in the combination of local symbolism, central location, and the scenic character of the place.
